Uncharted Mountain Cliff
For this project I came up with the brief to make a level for an Action / RPG game that incorporated stealth, traversing and possibly shooting mechanics. I took inspiration from games like Uncharted and Tomb Raider to create this mountain cliff path.
I used this project mostly to try and get more familiar with Unreal AI and Behaviour trees. The AI in this level can act in a variety of different ways depending on which type of AI i want them to be (Patroller, stationary etc).
I also wanted to progress my Level Design skills so I took into consideration how the level would flow and the pacing at different stages. I also incorporated rewards whether they be visual or possibly rewarding the player a weapon at a certain stage.
Finally I wanted this level to have two different routes, I wanted the player to have the choice whether they took the stealthy option or whether they got into a gunfight with the enemies.
